My children will tell you, I love Monday mornings. The promise of a new week laid out before me, sinking back into our weekly routine, the pleasure of being able to ease back into it all with a slow start to our morning.
But alas, this morning could use a do over. A rewind. And that's okay. A breath. A little space. A little quiet. A little room to get that breath, and I think we'll all be just fine. I hear laughter in the other room.
Meanwhile, as we all start fresh, here are a few links I've been stashing away that never made it "to print" last week.
Enjoy.
And happy Monday morning.
Target + liberty of london = beautiful temptation.

I’m enjoying my Mondays more and more, especially this last one was gorgeous and sunny and I wasn’t at work! (yay!)
I love monday mornings too! I love to have the week stretched out in front of me, and as you said, getting back to our routine. Hope the rest of your monday is wonderful.
Love your optimistic view on Monday mornings. I’m more of a Friday gal myself. Hope the remainder of your day is all you hoped it would be!

we needed a re-do this morning too. i’ll have to make it up to the girls when they get home. xo.
Two little people one all sunshine and roses. And one grumpy to be waking at the normal 6:30 with a migraine. We were just extra gentle, extra space.
I should take on your view of Mondays! It is hard to pull myself out of bed for the florescent lights of the office!
what a great monday! My work schedule this monday are very hectic so i need to work double.
I’m with you on the Monday thing. Friday’s are good, but I have energy on Mondays. We go out to eat on Thursdays because there’s not much good about Thursday.
love these links, this is great, thanks!!
and some Mondays are just like that.
some days an entire do-over is in order. alas.
i have rather a love-hate relationship with martha stewart but i turn to everyday food often and just bought that app (thanks for the heads up). i’m really hoping it’ll help with my inability to plan my meals in advance. i love that you can add items to your shopping list directly from the app.
hope everyone is feeling well.
Can’t thank you enough for linking the article on the urgent vs/ the important. I needed to read that and so does my husband. I think that maybe that was meant for me to read this morning…thank you Molly!
Molly thanks for the links. The urgent one hit home. While I really didn’t know exactly how to say it or think it or even put a name to it…you know it just felt like here lately random different things were getting pushed to the side, until they become so urgent that it was crazy rush to get it done, leaving valued things sitting on the sidelines.Ok, I need to go dry my eyes. Girls have some friends over and well, a broken down mom will cause raised eye brows.
Oh my, that baby’s room was smashing!! (And yes, ab-so-LUTELY, every baby comes with a new bag. Perk of labor, small but significant.)
