I have never, nor will I ever claim to be good at the delicate embroidery work like those I see among my other blogging friends. However, I have a feeling there will be much more necessary needlework in my future. This pair of jeans that belong to Mary were unstained and un-torn when we arrived here just over a week ago. And now, thanks to spending probably more time outside than in, they are stained, frayed and threadbare at the knees. So, just in time for spring, I whipped up a little birdie patch to cover her chubby bare knees.
