Had a conversation with Birdy about trading in the diapers for underwear. She’s still not convinced.
Delivered tractor parts for Dan.
Instead of consulting Pinterest, called my mom for Easter dessert ideas. I should do that more often.
Decided taking baths (because there are no working showers at Woodlawn) isn’t such a bad deal.
Actually sat down to work at my desk, even though my desk is in my bedroom, not my office/studio space. It may be weeks, months before I see bare space in that room.
Found my moleskine.
Got teary listening to someone else’s sad news.
Took the long way home, which now truly leads us home.

My husband comes from an Italian family and he grew up making Meat Pie every year at Easter. We lose the recipe every year and every year he calls his mom for it. I think she secretly loves it! Way better than Pinterest. And so it has really become a tradition for us. Along with buying too much Easter candy that we usually regret. All in all it sounds like a great day.
Why is dressing little girls so hard these days. I sure wish that would change. And by the way, I love the simple format of this post. I think I will do something like this soon myself…

I know that feeling of frustration when it comes to finding clothes for girls that look like clothes for children. Seems the more age appropriate they are, the more expensive they are. Preserving childhood doesn't seem to be too "in" these days, does it?
