LIVING WELL

closed for the season

6 july

When I told my husband my plan, he didn't think I'd go through with it. But I know this is much needed. So, I'm going to take a little break from my blog for the season.

I want to refresh and recharge.

I want to be on my computer less.

I want the freedom to experience moments that are only documented in my memory.

Of course, I'll still be over at habit. There is something about using just a few words to mark time that is really appealing to me right now. And for the month of July, we've invited all of you to share in that habit along with us.

I'll be back in August. I'm already looking forward to it.

Be well, friends.

  1. I love the Flickr habit idea, joined today, hope to keep up with it. Enjoy your break! We’re breaking to Northern Michigan tomorrow. Be well.

  2. Just found your blog last week and am so glad to find sane bloggers out there. Makes me feel better about blogging really. Enjoy your break. 🙂

  3. enjoy your break and your summer. Thanks for the habit link. I think I may play along. I’ve been on a very long blog break, this may be just what I need to get my writing mojo back.

  4. You will be missed! But have a great summer break ~ I just took one and it really does wonders.

Plus, I’m *thrilled* about this month’s habit celebration and have trotted over to sign up. *wave*

  5. I (we) will miss you, but I fully understand and think it is a great idea. Enjoy your family and make many many precious memories. Blessings!

  6. Enjoy every bit of it, documented and otherwise. Especially those tiniest of toes, brand new to summer. See you on the other side.

  7. Ironically, I just discovered you (via Angry Chicken) and wait respectfully, but maybe a tennsy bit impatiently, for you to return!

  8. Hi Molly! Obviously you won’t read this until after your break (which, for the record, I think is a fantastic idea!) But I just wanted to say that having stumbled over your blog yesterday I am now a huge fan! Your writing is inspiring, refreshingly honest, comforting and above all else, an enjoyable read. I hope that you have some lovely, quality time with your family and I look forward to your return.

  9. This simple wooden house, though not very attractive appearance, but I like it the design of the window, I like the beauty of the window, but I prefer the cool of the house, like the basement of building the same comfort.
