  1. A very full, and (mostly) good weekend! Just what this time of year should be like! Could you share your blueberry buckle recipe? My mom used to make that when I was young, and I haven’t had it in years.

  2. As my dad would say “That sounds just like real life!”

Then he’d guffaw and slap you on the back -just- a little bit too hard. You’d probably spill your coffee down the front of your shirt.

I found a really good blueberry buckle recipe on the food network site, but I’m looking for it now and can’t find it again- sorry. It had lemon in it, and was moist and perfect.

  3. I feel happy reading this. Sounds like a great weekend to me… well minus the hospital visit and the bickering!

  4. sounds very full. i so wanted to get in on the strawberries this weekend but it wasn’t meant to be. next weekend though, it will happen.

  5. my local strawberry stand said sunday was the last day for them, so i had to get two more batches in before the season ended. i completely missed it last year, and i was determined not to make the same mistake again!

  6. MMMmm sounds full and mostly fun and refreshing. My mom just made and brought us some strawberry rhubarb jam oh my so good! I hope to take the kids picking this week.

  7. Full, indeed. I never thought I would miss the sweet East Coast humidity, but I do. I really, really do. I want to go skinny dipping in a pond or lake after dinner.

  8. Molls,It’s been awhile since I’ve stopped by. I enjoyed your sweet list and the pictures of your beautiful children in the previous post, and the chore chart!Hope all is well, smooches,k
