Little Miss Birdy, poor baby number four, is definitely not seeing as much camera time as her sisters did. So this morning, while the house was somewhat quiet, I tried to snap a few while she played on my bed.
Of course of the fifty some pictures I snapped, all but about two were a blur of flailing baby arms and legs. I'll have to catch her again when she's feeling a bit more peaceful and not so energetic.
She's definitely settling in to her simple little life. The reflux is manageable most days. And last week she graduated to sleeping in her crib in her own room.
I'm so glad we've made the change. With the hum of the cool fan, all the curtains and shades drawn, it is such peaceful space for naps and sleep.
And Birdy and I may have been known to take a few naps together, snuggled in that big comfy chair in the corner, as well…

Hard to argue with a bundle of energy, especially one so sweet as all that. Enjoy them always; they’ll stick in your mind’s eye forever, anyway.
Oh that little Birdy is so sweet.
Precious little smoochie face!
She’s precious and her room does look peaceful. What a sweet space you’ve made for her.
awww birdy! that chair looks super comfy. i wish we had room for a chair like that in F’s room….
precious.
oh, what a sweet little thing. glad the reflux has improved. you sound patient about it- hope you feel that way!
sweet, sweet. thinking of y’all.
what a sweet little baby. My fourth is the same age and I’m sad to say he’s getting a lot less camera time also. I just bought an SLR in the hopes I’ll start taking more of him!
Adorable baby girl! Please share where that duvet cover is from, love the dots!
She is such a sweetie pie. I love the yellow crib!
Beautiful pictures! I remember big comfy chairs with my little ones too -they were wonderful. Although they are still little, they are too big to fit in a chair with mom. Thanks for the memory.
Oooh, I love the color of your crib!
And wow… you are blessed with four of the sweetest little ones…
Completely love that first picture.
My baby girl number 4 is suffering from a lack of camera time too, and then when I get the guilts and take a whole series she gets freaked out by too much flash! She is about the same age as Birdy so I enjoy reading your updates about how life is progressing for you all. And I adore that first photo. Smooshy baby cheeks are the best!
That last photo is so pretty it kind of makes me wish we used a crib! Alas, even if we weren’t committed cosleepers, with a family of five in a two-bedroom house, creating a cozy nursery isn’t part of the picture for me. But Oh, how cute yours is!!
I like many others- love the color of your crib! What a fantastic space and I am glad you are getting your snuggle time with little Birdy!
elaine, i’m sure you’ll LOVE the SLR. it will inspire you to take more photos!
