Thank you for all your commiseration and suggestions on my post about Birdy’s acid reflux. Like birth stories, it seems everyone has their own unique experiences with newborns. And suddenly it feels like cases of acid reflux are coming out of the woodwork. Funny how that happens when you are suddenly experiencing something that wasn’t even on your radar before. I feel like we are beginning to see a glimmer of relief.

I think I messed up my feed settings for people who are subscribing to this blog. This this post is part “informative” and part “testing”.

i may need dan to hook me up with one of these toy benches
i like this for its open shelving in a small space.
i’d like one of these for the milk for our morning cereal.
i love the idea of this lighting and definitely the bench.

I have a little something up my sleeve…I am hoping to share it with you very soon. A little baby celebration of sorts…with lots of good things.

The picture? That’s part of my lunch yesterday. Funny how a quiet, sit down lunch suddenly becomes so romantic and luxurious.
Happy Thursday, friends!

i like that table and bench, too. and the milk jug. i’d like that.
I saw your post in Google Reader just fine 🙂
Hi Molly,
Thanks for the mention and kind words about my cow jug! You have a lovely blog – I will stop back soon.
Helen x
what an especially fine list of links — the toy bench is brilliant! and i wanted to thank you, especially, for re-connecting me with Eyebuzz — I’d lost it, and mourned it terribly. here’s to an increasingly happy (wee) camper!
This works fine for me via Bloglines but it is hard to comment.
Can you believe milk jug lady (helen) lives around the corner from me!! Small world. Glad to hear (in your next post) that Birdy is settling down for you.
Hi, Just found your blog and was reading about your reflux troubles. WHen my oldest (now nearly 15) was born she had terrible reflux, After many doctors and trials we went to a herbal chinese medicine man and he said to brew a weak ginger tea, a couple of slices of peeled ginger in water and simmer so the flavour seeps into the water. It should taste mildly of ginger – not strong. Put into a bottle or spoon it into bubs mouth BEFORE you feed, just a teaspoon of 2. It worhed wonders – instantly. The theory was that her stomach was “cold” and ginger is “hot” so it would speed up the digestive process. Anyway give it a try and nice natural one. Brenda
