LOVE the plates!
awesome plates! is that a maple leaf tattoo I spy? adorable.
Now I totally envy your summer storm and power failure! And who needs firewood when you can have gorgeous wood plates delicately laced with their own bark (play plates?! Reclaim them, and use them to serve cheese, sandwiches, as chopping boards etc!)And, I know, you still have plenty left for firewood also …:)
what fantastic plates!
Thank you for the link to Simply Canning. It will take me a while to actually do something with it, but to have the knowledge is the first step.
I live in a block of flats and my grandparents also. The part of your weekend I envy the most is the dinner on the patio at the farm. I wish for a picnic right now!
I can’t wait to read Box Car Children to my kids. I’m waiting another year or so but the copy is sitting on the shelf.
Thanks for the SimplyCanning link. We are going blueberry picking soon and I was hoping to learn how to can them.

I really love those ‘plates’! It really looks like it was a good weekend indeed!
What a wonderful weekend you had! Those plates are marvelous, and the Boxcar Children is in my opinion one of the best books ever written for children.
Sounds wonderful!

Yo sista, what’s happening with the Balint family?? I need a mollycoddle fix! 🙂 Hope you’re week is going well!! Love ya!
hope all is well.. you have been quiet!
those plates are brilliant! I want some just like them for my picnic basket. seriously. My friend from germany has small flat cutting boards that they call sandwhich boards, just the right size to make, slice, and serve on … these would be ideal.
i love the tree plates!
Just wanted to pop in and say Happy Birthday friend! Hope you are having a great day.
