DAILY FARM LIFE

Intermission

Hi Friends.

I need to take a short break from giveaways for today, but I'll be back on Friday with two giveaways to catch up, so stay tuned.

Meanwhile, I'll leave you with some pictures from the girls ride this morning. Emma sat through a pretty good little buck, and Elizabeth had her first taste of riding. I think we're in serious trouble. Let's just say there were lots of tears when we peeled her fingers from the reigns and removed her from the saddle.

More friday!!

  1. Oh, that sweet face! M has been begging me for horseback riding lessons since she was old enough to speak. Because she’s going to be a cowgirl and a farmer when she grows up, dontcha know. 🙂

  2. we went down this road with Molly – you seem to have found a great location/teacher we weren’t as lucky and after a year of lessons she was still just walking around the ring because they hadn’t started working on trotting yet … mmmmm. Complete waste of money. Your girls are so lucky. I love the look on E’s face! So cute.

  3. Those pics rock!I took horsemanship in college for my PE credit. It was wonderful. I loved every moment. I had never been on a horse before, really, so I was a complete newbie.I wish my kids got to ride as yours do!

  4. Hi Molly! I haven’t commented in a while, but I have been keeping an eye on you. When patient Mothering collides with horseback riding and beautiful daughters, well,it is almost more than I can bear. It is all priceless.

  5. in the short 6 -12 months or so that i’ve been following your blog, i can’t believe how much elizabeth has grown… wasn’t she just a baby, like… yesterday?!
